About

Matt Crevin - Voice of the BoxMatt brings over 18 years of NFL game-day experience to the field which kicked-off with his “rookie” season as a public relations intern for the San Francisco 49ers in 1991. He played an important role with the team setting up post game player interviews with the national media, working directly with the players on their community events and being in the booth on game-day providing inside information to some of the biggest names in NFL broadcasting.

Matt’s role with the 49ers evolved into a more specialized position over the next decade as his skills and experience related to the national media grew. In addition to playing a more important role with radio and television coverage of home 49er games from the booth, sidelines and locker room, he also joined the Westwood One/CBS radio team working as a spotter for select west coast NFL games. Matt’s experience working side by side with broadcast greats like Al Michaels, John Madden, (the late) Harry Kalas, Dick Enberg, and Marv Albert to name just a few, he is ready to bring a totally new game to the field in a format that will give every sports fan a fresh look inside the numerous careers there are in sports.

Today, Matt continues his relationship with the 49ers as the press box public address announcer and has lived through the ups and downs, highs and lows and behind the scenes action of an NFL dynasty only an insider can see.

Matt brings that perspective, along with his deep sports industry connections, rare insider interviews and extraordinary access to the vast number of careers in the sports industry. Matt details how these insiders got their start, what advice they would share with others as well as what it takes to be successful.
